Those things, which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Especially the day that you stood before the LORD your God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

For I think that God has set forth us the apostles last, as appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honorable, but we are despised. Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place; And labor, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure it: Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the trash of all things unto this day. I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you. For though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have you not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Therefore I beseech you, be followers of me.
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them who so walk, since you have us for an example.
For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; Neither did we eat any man's bread for nothing; but worked with labor and travail night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you: Not because we have not that right, but to make ourselves an example unto you to follow us.
But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn first to show piety at home, and so repay their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
But continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them;
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
The heart of the prudent gets knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.
And the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
You therefore who teach another, can you not teach yourself? you that preach a man should not steal, do you steal?
