And the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becomes holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sensible, to love their husbands, to love their children,

Now also when I am old and gray headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have showed your strength unto this generation, and your power to every one that is to come.

So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because you were dear unto us.

Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

He that walks with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and look well to your herds.

Remember them who have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their manner of life.
