And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; your servant will go and fight with this Philistine. Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver only their own souls by their righteousness, says the Lord GOD.
Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very compassionate, and of tender mercy.
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them who so walk, since you have us for an example.
Be followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
