And He saith to them, "Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest yourselves a little." For there were many coming and going, and they were not finding opportunity even to eat. And they went away in the boat to a desert place apart.
"Come to me, all ye who are laboring and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
And He said to them, "The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath;
And I heard a voice from Heaven, saying, "Write: Happy are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth! Yea," saith the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them."
And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.
But who is there of you, having a servant plowing, or tending sheep, that will say to him, having come in from the field, 'Coming straightway, recline at table;' and will not rather say to him, 'Make ready wherewith I may sup; and, having girded yourself, serve me, until I eat and drink; and afterward you shall eat and drink?'
Whether, therefore, ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God,
Look, therefore, carefully, how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise, buying up the opportunity, because the days are evil.
And, at the same time, they learn to be idle, going around from house to house, and not only idle, but tattlers also and busy-bodies, speaking things which they ought not.
For we hear of some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, who work not at all, but are busybodies.
that ye may not become slothful, but imitators of those who, through faith and long-suffering, inherit the promises.
"And that which fell among the thorns, these are those who heard; and, going forth, they are choked with anxieties, and riches, and pleasures of life, and bear no fruit to perfection.

So is he who is laying up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."
