And they filled them up to the brim. And He saith to them, "Draw out now, and bear to the ruler of the feast." And they bore it. When the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and knew not whence it was, (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast calls the bridegroom, and says to him, "Every man sets on the good wine first; and, when they become drunken, the worse. You have kept the good wine until now!" This beginning of His signs Jesus wrought in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed on Him.
As in the day, let us walk becomingly; not in revellings and drunkenness, not in lewdness and wantonness, not in strife and jealousy;
For the bishop must be blameless, as God's steward; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, not a striker, not greedy of base gain;
that aged women, in like manner, be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;
"Neither do they put new wine into old wine-skins; otherwise, indeed, the skins burst, and the wine runs out, and the skins are destroyed; but they put new wine into fresh wine-skins, and both are preserved together."

Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of God.
It is needful that deacons, in like manner, be grave, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy of base gain;
but, as it is, I wrote not to keep company, if anyone, called a brother, be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner??ith such a one, not even to eat.
And I say to you, I will not drink henceforth of this product of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in the Kingdom of My Father."

but put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill its desires.
All things are lawful for me; but all are not profitable. All things are lawful for me; but I will not be brought under the control of any.
and he not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and well-pleasing and perfect will of God.
