4 Bible Verses about Longevity

{Now Moses was a hundred and twenty years old} {when he died}; {his sight was not impaired and his vigor had not abated}.

And he said to them, "I am hundred and twenty years old {today}; I am not able to go out and to come [in] [any] longer, and Yahweh said to me, 'You may not cross this Jordan.'

And Job lived after this one hundred and forty years, and he saw his sons and his {grandsons} [for] four generations. Then Job died old and full of days.

When Arphaxad had lived thirty-five years, he fathered Shelah. And Arphaxad lived four hundred and three years after he fathered Shelah, and he fathered [other] sons and daughters.

When Shelah had lived thirty years, he fathered Eber. And Shelah lived four hundred and three years after he fathered Eber, and he fathered [other] sons and daughters.

When Peleg had lived thirty years, he fathered Reu. And Peleg lived two hundred and nine years after he fathered Reu, and he fathered [other] sons and daughters.

When Nahor had lived twenty-nine years, he fathered Terah. And Nahor lived one hundred and nineteen years after he fathered Terah, and he fathered [other] sons and daughters.

When Eber had lived thirty-four years, he fathered Peleg. And Eber lived four hundred and thirty years after he fathered Peleg, and he fathered [other] sons and daughters.

When Reu had lived thirty-two years, he fathered Serug. And Reu lived two hundred and seven years after he fathered Serug, and he fathered [other] sons and daughters.

When Serug had lived thirty years, he fathered Nahor. And Serug lived two hundred years after he fathered Nahor, and he fathered [other] sons and daughters.

These are the generations of Shem. When Shem {was one hundred years old}, he fathered Arphaxad, two years after the flood. And Shem lived five hundred years after he fathered Arphaxad, and he fathered [other] sons and daughters.

And there was a prophetess, Anna the daughter of Phanuel of the tribe of Asher (she was advanced {in years}, having lived with [her] husband seven years {after her marriage}, and herself [as] a widow up to eighty-four years) who did not depart from the temple with fastings and prayers, serving night and day.

And Jehoiada grew old and full of days, and he died; [he was] one hundred and thirty years old at his death.

After these things Joshua son of Nun servant of Yahweh died; {he was one hundred and ten years old}.

Now Barzillai [was] very old, {eighty years old}. Now he had provided the king [with food] while he [was] staying at Mahanaim, for he [was] a very wealthy man.

Aaron was one hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.

And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years. And the days of Jacob, the years of his life, were one hundred and forty-seven years.

Now the days of Isaac were one hundred and eighty years.

And the days of Terah [were] two hundred and five years, and Terah died in Haran.

So Joseph died, [being] one hundred and ten years old. They embalmed him and he was placed in a coffin in Egypt.

Now Eli [was] {ninety-eight years old} and his eyes {stayed fixed ahead} and he was not able to see.

And all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he died.

And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.

All the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and he died.

Now these [are] the days of the years of {the life of Abraham}: one hundred and seventy-five years.

And Amram took Jochebed his aunt for himself as a wife, and she bore for him Aaron and Moses, and the years of the life of Amram [were] {one hundred and thirty-seven years}.

And {Sarah lived} one hundred and twenty-seven years; [these were] the years of the life of Sarah.

And all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.

And all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he died.

And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years, and he died.

And all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, and he died.
