And you gave your good Spirit to instruct them and did not withhold your manna from their mouth and gave them water for their thirst.
Therefore if you, [although you] are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father from heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?"
And [when he] had said this, he breathed on [them] and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.
For [the one] whom God sent speaks the words of God, for he does not give the Spirit by measure.
And Peter [said] to them, "Repent and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all those [who are] far away, as many as the Lord our God calls to himself."
You have ascended on high; you have led away captives. You have received gifts [from] among humankind, and even [from the] rebellious, so that Yah God may dwell [there].
Now he said this concerning the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were about to receive. For the Spirit was not yet [given], because Jesus had not yet been glorified.)
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, in order that he may be with you {forever}--
do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, {the glorious Father}, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him
And Peter [said] to them, "Repent and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
And we are witnesses of these things, and [so is] the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him."
[While] Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who were listening to the message. And those believers from the circumcision who had accompanied Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles,
Therefore if God gave them the same gift as also to us [when we] believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I [to be] able to hinder God?"
And God, who knows the heart, testified to them [by] giving [them] the Holy Spirit, just as he also [did] to us.

"And as for me, this [is] my covenant with them, says Yahweh: my spirit that [is] upon you, and my words that I have placed in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your {children}, or from the mouths of {your children's children}," says Yahweh, "from now on and forever."
'according to {the promise} that {I covenanted} with you when you came out of Egypt. My spirit {is with you}; do not be afraid.'
If you are reviled on account of the name of Christ, [you are] blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
Until a spirit is poured out on us from on high, and [the] wilderness becomes fruitful field, and [the] fruitful field is reckoned as the forest.
in order that the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
And the one who keeps his commandments resides in him, and he in him. And by this we know that he resides in us: by the Spirit whom he has given to us.
Now the one who has prepared us for this very [thing] [is] God, who has given us the down payment, the Spirit.
who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of the possession, to the praise of his glory.
And I will not hide my face again from them when I pour out my Spirit over the house of Israel," {declares} the Lord Yahweh.
