but was rebuked for his offense. A dumb animal spoke with the voice of a man, and checked the prophet's madness.

Jesus went into a house; and again a crowd collected, so that they were not able even to eat their food. When his relations heard of it, they went to take charge of him, for they said that he was out of his mind. And the Teachers of the Law, who had come down from Jerusalem, said: "He has Baal-zebub in him, and he drives the demons out by the help of Baal-zebub, their chief."
But some of them said: "He drives out demons by the help of Baal-zebub, the chief of the demons";
While Paul was making this defense, Festus called out loudly: "You are mad, Paul; your great learning is driving you mad." "I am not mad, your Excellency," he replied; "on the contrary, the statements that I am making are true and sober.
For, if we were "beside ourselves," it was in God's service! If we are not in our senses, it is in yours!
