When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, "I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith."
The Pharisee was astonished to see that he did not first wash before dinner.

When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who followed him, "Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith.
And the men marveled, saying, "What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?"
The Jews therefore marveled, saying, "How is it that this man has learning, when he has never studied?"
so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which has not been told them they see, and that which they have not heard they understand.
And he said to them, "Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?" Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
Just then his disciples came back. They marveled that he was talking with a woman, but no one said, "What do you seek?" or, "Why are you talking with her?"
When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
