The LORD of hosts is who you must regard as holy. He is the one you must fear. He is the one you must dread.

You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?

Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid, for God has come to test you, and that his fear may be before you, that you won't sin."
Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it." He was afraid, and said, "How dreadful is this place. This is none other than God's house, and this is the gate of heaven."
So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
"I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will warn you whom you should fear. Fear him, who after he has killed, has power to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.
But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear, neither be troubled." But sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, yet with humility and fear:
