David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken, and David rescued his two wives.
"For thus says the LORD: Your hurt is incurable, and your wound is grievous.
"What do you want me to do for you?" He said, "Lord, let me recover my sight."
and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him and said to him, "Thus says the LORD, 'Set your house in order, for you shall die; you shall not recover.'"
Now Isaiah had said, "Let them take a cake of figs and apply it to the boil, that he may recover."
And the LORDrestored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
And Isaiah said, "Bring a cake of figs. And let them take and lay it on the boil, that he may recover."

And when David and his men came to the city, they found it burned with fire, and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive.
"Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the leader of my people, Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD,
I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak, and the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them in justice.
In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death, and he prayed to the LORD, and he answered him and gave him a sign.
