And a certain one of those who reclined at table with him, after hearing these things, said to him: Blessed is he who shall cat bread in the kingdom of God.

On the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying: If any one thirst, let him come to me and drink. He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, from his inner self shall flow rivers of living water.

They shall hunger no more, nor shall they thirst any more, nor shall the sun fall upon them, nor any heat. For the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and will lead them to living fountains of water: and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

The kingdom of heaven is like a king that made a marriage feast for his son;

Let us rejoice and be glad, and give glory to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready. And to her was given that she should be clothed in fine linen, clean arid white; for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. And he said to me: Write, Blessed are they that are called to the marriage-supper of the Lamb. And he said to me: These are the true words of God.

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bride-groom. Five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:read more.
but the wise took oil in their vessels, with their lamps. While the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight a cry was made: Behold, the bridegroom comes! Go you out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise: Give us of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the wise answered, saying: Lest there may not be enough for us and you, go rather to those who sell, and buy for your selves. While they were going to buy, the bridegroom came; and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage supper; and the door was closed.

And he said to him: A certain man made a great supper, and invited many.

And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven, from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

and sent his servants to call those who had been invited to the marriage feast; and they refused to come. Again, he sent other servants, saying, Tell those who have been invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage feast. But they were careless, and went away, one to his farm, another to his merchandise.read more.
And the rest laid hold of his servants, and abused them, and killed them.

And he said to him: A certain man made a great supper, and invited many. And he sent his servant at the hour of supper, to say to those who had been invited, Come, for all things are now ready. And they all, with one consent, began to make excuse. The first said to him, I have bought a farm, and I must go and see it; I pray you, have me excused.read more.
And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to try them; I pray you, have me excused. And another said, I have married a wife, and, for this reason, I can not come.

I also say to you, That many shall come from the east and the west, and shall recline with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven; but the sons of the kingdom shall be cast into the darkness that is without. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
