and I, John, saw the holy city -- new Jerusalem -- coming down from God out of the heaven, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband;
that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it with the bathing of the water in the saying, that he might present it to himself the assembly in glory, not having spot or wrinkle, or any of such things, but that it may be holy and unblemished;
Jehovah doth perfect for me, O Jehovah, Thy kindness is to the age, The works of Thy hands let not fall!
having been confident of this very thing, that He who did begin in you a good work, will perform it till a day of Jesus Christ,
and ye are in him made full, who is the head of all principality and authority,
because I have come down out of the heaven, not that I may do my will, but the will of Him who sent me.
And having gone forward a little, he fell on his face, praying, and saying, 'My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou.'
and he said, 'Abba, Father; all things are possible to Thee; make this cup pass from me; but, not what I will, but what Thou.'
saying, 'Father, if Thou be counselling to make this cup pass from me -- ;but, not my will, but Thine be done.' --
Jesus saith to them, 'My food is, that I may do the will of Him who sent me, and may finish His work;
'I am not able of myself to do anything; according as I hear I judge, and my judgment is righteous, because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father who sent me.
then I said, Lo, I come, (in a volume of the book it hath been written concerning me,) to do, O God, Thy will;'
and he said unto them -- 'Also to the other cities it behoveth me to proclaim good news of the reign of God, because for this I have been sent;'
and he saith to them, 'We may go to the next towns, that there also I may preach, for for this I came forth.'
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because He did anoint me; To proclaim good news to the poor, Sent me to heal the broken of heart, To proclaim to captives deliverance, And to blind receiving of sight, To send away the bruised with deliverance, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.'
The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is on me, Because Jehovah did anoint me To proclaim tidings to the humble, He sent me to bind the broken of heart, To proclaim to captives liberty, And to bound ones an opening of bands. To proclaim the year of the good pleasure of Jehovah, And the day of vengeance of our God, To comfort all mourners.
And Jesus having come forth thence, withdrew to the parts of Tyre and Sidon, and lo, a woman, a Canaanitess, from those borders having come forth, did call to him, saying, 'Deal kindly with me, Sir -- Son of David; my daughter is miserably demonized.' And he did not answer her a word; and his disciples having come to him, were asking him, saying -- 'Let her away, because she crieth after us;'read more.

And having come, she was bowing to him, saying, 'Sir, help me;' and he answering said, 'It is not good to take the children's bread, and to cast to the little dogs.' And she said, 'Yes, sir, for even the little dogs do eat of the crumbs that are falling from their lords' table;' then answering, Jesus said to her, 'O woman, great is thy faith, let it be to thee as thou wilt;' and her daughter was healed from that hour.
And from thence having risen, he went away to the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and having entered into the house, he wished none to know, and he was not able to be hid, for a woman having heard about him, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having come, fell at his feet, -- and the woman was a Greek, a Syro-Phenician by nation -- and was asking him, that the demon he may cast forth out of her daughter.read more.
And Jesus said to her, 'Suffer first the children to be filled, for it is not good to take the children's bread, and to cast it to the little dogs.' And she answered and saith to him, 'Yes, sir; for the little dogs also under the table do eat of the children's crumbs.' And he said to her, 'Because of this word go; the demon hath gone forth out of thy daughter;' and having come away to her house, she found the demon gone forth, and the daughter laid upon the couch.
'I say to you, that so joy shall be in the heaven over one sinner reforming, rather than over ninety-nine righteous men, who have no need of reformation.
so it is not will in presence of your Father who is in the heavens, that one of these little ones may perish.
'So I say to you, joy doth come before the messengers of God over one sinner reforming.'
I did glorify Thee on the earth, the work I did finish that Thou hast given me, that I may do it.
and he said to them, 'Having gone, say to this fox, Lo, I cast forth demons, and perfect cures to-day and to-morrow, and the third day I am being perfected;
now is a judgment of this world, now shall the ruler of this world be cast forth;
After this, Jesus knowing that all things now have been finished, that the Writing may be fulfilled, saith, 'I thirst;'
Wherefore also we are ambitious, whether at home or away from home, to be well pleasing to him,
for he who in these things is serving the Christ, is acceptable to God and approved of men.
Because of this, we also, from the day in which we heard, do not cease praying for you, and asking that ye may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, to your walking worthily of the Lord to all pleasing, in every good work being fruitful, and increasing to the knowledge of God,
yes, indeed, and I count all things to be loss, because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, because of whom of the all things I suffered loss, and do count them to be refuse, that Christ I may gain, and be found in him,
and this is the life age-during, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and him whom Thou didst send -- Jesus Christ;
to know him, and the power of his rising again, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being conformed to his death,
and increase ye in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; to him is the glory both now, and to the day of the age! Amen.

And lo, a certain lawyer stood up, trying him, and saying, 'Teacher, what having done, life age-during shall I inherit?' And he said unto him, 'In the law what hath been written? how dost thou read?' And he answering said, 'Thou shalt love the Lord thy God out of all thy heart, and out of all thy soul, and out of all thy strength, and out of all thy understanding, and thy neighbour as thyself.'read more.
And he said to him, 'Rightly thou didst answer; this do, and thou shalt live.'
'This is my command, that ye love one another, according as I did love you;
and now there doth remain faith, hope, love -- these three; and the greatest of these is love.
And the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned,
Beloved, if thus did God love us, we also ought one another to love; God no one hath ever seen; if we may love one another, God in us doth remain, and His love is having been perfected in us;
The salt is good, but if the salt may become saltless, in what will ye season it? Have in yourselves salt, and have peace in one another.'
Henceforth, brethren, rejoice; be made perfect, be comforted, be of the same mind, be at peace, and the God of the love and peace shall be with you;
and to study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we did command you,
having gone, then, disciple all the nations, (baptizing them -- to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all, whatever I did command you,) and lo, I am with you all the days -- till the full end of the age.'
but I make account of none of these, neither do I count my life precious to myself, so that I finish my course with joy, and the ministration that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify fully the good news of the grace of God.
if by any means I shall arouse to jealousy mine own flesh, and shall save some of them,
and so counting it honour to proclaim good news, not where Christ was named -- that upon another's foundation I might not build --
for if I may proclaim good news, it is no glorying for me, for necessity is laid upon me, and woe is to me if I may not proclaim good news;
preach the word; be earnest in season, out of season, convict, rebuke, exhort, in all long-suffering and teaching,

and we all, with unvailed face, the glory of the Lord beholding in a mirror, to the same image are being transformed, from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Having, then, these promises, beloved, may we cleanse ourselves from every pollution of flesh and spirit, perfecting sanctification in the fear of God;

lo, I tell you a secret; we indeed shall not all sleep, and we all shall be changed; in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, in the last trumpet, for it shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we -- we shall be changed:
for we also who are in the tabernacle do groan, being burdened, seeing we wish not to unclothe ourselves, but to clothe ourselves, that the mortal may be swallowed up of the life. And He who did work us to this self-same thing is God, who also did give to us the earnest of the Spirit;
then we who are living, who are remaining over, together with them shall be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in air, and so always with the Lord we shall be;
beloved, now, children of God are we, and it was not yet manifested what we shall be, and we have known that if he may be manifested, like him we shall be, because we shall see him as he is;
in the house of my Father are many mansions; and if not, I would have told you; I go on to prepare a place for you; and if I go on and prepare for you a place, again do I come, and will receive you unto myself, that where I am ye also may be;
'And this is the will of the Father who sent me, that all that He hath given to me I may not lose of it, but may raise it up in the last day;
