And immediately his ears were opened, and the band of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly. And he charged them to tell no one; but the more he charged them, the more earnestly they published it. And they were amazed beyond measure, and said: He Las done all things well: he makes the deaf hear and the dumb speak.
When those who were about him saw what would be done, they said to him: Lord, shall we strike with the sword? And a certain one of them struck the servant of the chief priest, and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said: Let this matter proceed thus far. And he touched his ear and healed him.
