whose voice then shook the earth; but now He hath promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also the heaven." Now this expression "yet once more" signifieth the removing of the things that are shaken, as of things which had been appointed only for a season, that those which cannot be shaken may remain.

expecting and hastening on the coming of the day of God, whereby the heavens being set on fire shall be dissolved, and the burning elements shall be melted. But we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwelleth.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth passed away, and there was no more sea.

Wherefore since we receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and holy fear:

And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be his people, and God himself, even their God, will be with them.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be death no more, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
