And they were all amazed, so that they inquired of each other, saying, What is this, what new kind of doctrine is this? for He commands with authority even the impure spirits, and they obey Him.

Then He spake a parable to them, That no one putteth a piece of new cloth upon an old garment: otherwise, the new maketh a rent, and doth not match the old:

As no one putteth a piece of new cloth to an old garment; for its new patch teareth away from the old garment, and the rent is made worse:

No man seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment; otherwise, it's new patch teareth from the old, and the rent is made worse:

nor doth any one put new wine in to old vessels; otherwise, the new wine will burst the casks, and be spilled, and the vessels will be destroyed: but new wine must be put into new vessels, and then both are saved.

nor do they put new wine into old vessels; otherwise, the casks burst, and the wine is spilt, and the vessels are destroyed: but they put new wine into new vessels, and both are preserved.

nor does any one put new wine into old vessels; otherwise the new wine bursteth the vessels, and the wine is spilt, and the vessels are destroyed: but new wine should be put into new vessels.

And on this account He is the mediator of a new covenant, that undergoing death for the redemption of transgressions against the first covenant, they that are called might receive the promise of an eternal inheritance.

And in the same manner He took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant ratified in my blood: this do, as often as ye drink of it, in remembrance of me."

Who hath also fitted us to be ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit: for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life.

Now the sum of the things that have been said is this, that we have such an high-priest, who is sat down at the right hand of the throne of the majesty in the heavens; a minister of holy things, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord hath raised, and not man. For every high-priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; wherefore it was necessary that He also should have something to offer.read more.
For if He were on earth, He could not be a priest, seeing there are priests already that offer gifts according to the law: who worship under the representation and shadow of heavenly things; as Moses was ordered by God, when he was about to finish the tabernacle. For see, saith He, that thou make all according to the model shewn thee in the mount. But now He hath obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which is established upon better promises. For if the first covenant had been unexceptionable, there had been no room for a second: as we see there was, for after complaining of them, He adds, "Behold the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers, in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; for they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their mind, and I will inscribe them on their hearts; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people. And they shall not teach every one his neighbour, and every one his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the lest even to the greatest of them. For I will forgive their crimes, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more." Now by saying, a new covenant, He hath antiquated the first: and what is antiquated, and groweth old, is near it's exit.

the new and living way which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say,

and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than Abel.

Let him, that hath an ear, hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna: and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knoweth, but He that receiveth it.

Nicodemus saith unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, I tell thee of a truth, Unless a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That, which is born of the flesh, is flesh; and that, which is born of the Spirit, is spirit. Do not wonder that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. As the wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound of it, but knowest not whence it cometh, or whither it goeth; so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus answered and said unto Him, How can these things be? Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a teacher of Israel and knowest not these things? I assure thee, that we speak what we know, and testify what we have seen; though ye receive not our testimony. If I have told you earthly things and ye believe not, how will ye believe if I should tell you heavenly ones? For no one hath ascended up into heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man who is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth on Him may not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him might not perish, but have everlasting life:

"Go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life."

Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also should walk in newness of life:

and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge, after the image of Him that created him.

And therefore if any one be in Christ, he is created anew: old things are passed away, behold all things are become new.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but being created anew.

and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and to put on the new man, which according to the image of God is created in righteousness, and true holiness.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; ---as I have loved you, that ye also love one another: for by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have mutual love to each other.

Brethren, I write not a new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning: the old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning: though I write it again as a new commandment, which is truth in Him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth passed away, and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, descending from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

But we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwelleth.

Him, that overcometh, I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, (the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God,) and my own new name.

And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
