Then the woman went to tell her husband. She said, "A man of God appeared to me. He looked like what an angel of God would look like very frightening. I didn't ask him where he had come from and he didn't tell me his name.
They didn't understand what this statement meant, and they were afraid to ask him.
But they didn't know what this meant. Indeed, the meaning was hidden from them so that they didn't understand it; and they were afraid to ask him about this statement.
No one could answer him at all, and from that day on no one dared to ask him another question.
When Jesus saw how wisely the man answered, he told him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." After that, no one dared to ask him another question.
Then they no longer dared to ask him another question.
On that day, you won't ask me for anything. Truly, I tell all of you emphatically, whatever you ask the Father for in my name, he will give it to you.
1 Kings 1:6
His father had never challenged him at any time during his life by asking him, "Why are you acting like this?" Adonijah was very handsome and had been born after Absalom.
"But now I am going to the one who sent me. Yet none of you asks me, "Where are you going?'
Now we know that you know everything and don't need to have anyone ask you any questions. Because of this, we believe that you have come from God."
Then Jesus told them, "Come, have breakfast." Now none of the disciples dared to ask him, "Who are you?", because they knew it was the Lord.
