Then the woman told her husband: A man of God came to me. He looked as frightening as the angel of God. I did not ask him where he came from, and he did not tell me his name.
They did not understand and they were afraid to ask him about it.
They did not understand what he said. The meaning was concealed from them. They could not comprehend it. And they were afraid to ask him about it.
No one was able to answer him. After that they asked no more questions.
When Jesus saw that he answered intelligently he said to him: You are not far from the kingdom of God. No man dared ask any questions after that.
You will ask me for nothing then. Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name.
I go to him that sent me. None of you asks me: Where are you going?
We are sure you know all things and have no need that any man ask you questions. Because of this we believe you came from God.
Jesus said to them: Come and eat. And none of the disciples dared to inquire, who are you? They just knew it was the Lord.
Eat whatever is sold in the meat market without asking questions for the sake of conscience.
If a nonbeliever invites you to a feast and you feel you must go eat whatever is set before you, asking no question for conscience sake.
