All the promises of God in him are yes. Also in his is the Amen, to the glory of God through us.

When you call to me, I will answer you. I will be with you when you are in trouble. I will deliver you and honor you.

If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.

If you remain with me, and my words remain with you, ask whatever you will, and it will be done for you.

Whatever we ask we receive from Him because we obey His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.

Furthermore I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel. This is because the Egyptians are holding them in bondage. I have remembered my covenant.

I have seen the affliction of my people in Egypt. I have heard their groaning and have come to deliver them. Come, I will send you into Egypt.

If you do, I, Jehovah, will answer them when they cry out to me for help,

Jehovah said to Moses: I will do this thing of which you have spoken. You have found favor in my sight. I have known you by name. Then Moses said: Please show me your glory! What great nation is there, who has God so near to them? For we call on Jehovah our God for all things!

You my son Solomon, learn to know your father's God. Serve Jehovah wholeheartedly and willingly because he searches every heart and understands every thought we have. If you dedicate your life to serving him, he will accept you. On the other hand if you abandon him, he will reject you from then on.

But if you will look to God and plead with the Almighty,

I have become a laughingstock to my friends! I called upon God and he answered. Yet I am a mere laughingstock, though righteous and blameless!

You will pray to him and he will hear you! You will pay your vows.

He prays to God and finds favor with him. He sees God's face and shouts for joy! God restores him to his righteous state.

Those who know your name, Jehovah, will trust you. You do not abandon anyone who comes to you.

You have heard the desire of humble people, O Jehovah. You encourage them. You incline your ear (pay close attention) to them.

Jehovah should be praised. I called on him, and I was saved from my enemies.

For this reason let all godly people pray to you when you may be found. Then raging floodwater will not reach them.

Jehovah's eyes watch over righteous people. His ears hear their cry for help.

Be happy with Jehovah and he will provide you with the desires of your heart.

I wait with hope for you, O Jehovah. You will answer, O Jehovah, my God.

Bring your thanks to God as a sacrifice, and pay (make good) your vows to the Most High.

But I call on God, and Jehovah saves me.

Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me!

All men will come to you O Hearer of prayer.

For Jehovah hears the needy and does not despise his captive people.

I, Jehovah, am your God! I brought you up from the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.

You, O Jehovah, are good and forgiving, full of loving kindness toward everyone who calls out to you. Open your ears to my prayer, O Jehovah. Pay attention to my supplications! When I am in trouble, I call out to you because you answer me.

Jehovah is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.

Call out for insight. Lift up your voice for understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge (recognize) Him and He will make your paths straight.

The fear of the wicked will come upon him. The desire of the righteous will be granted.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to Jehovah! The prayer of the upright is his delight.

Preparations of the heart and the answer of the tongue, is from Jehovah.

They will be a sign of the presence of Jehovah of Hosts in Egypt. When the people there are oppressed and call out to Jehovah for help, he will send someone to rescue them.

You will live in Zion, in Jerusalem. You will not cry anymore. Jehovah will certainly have pity on you when you cry for help. As soon as he hears you, he will answer you.

Seek Jehovah while he may be found. Call on him while he is near.

In the spring ask Jehovah for rain. It is Jehovah who makes storm clouds and lightning. He will give showers of rain for the vegetation in the field.

Do not pray like the hypocrites! They want everyone to see them in the houses of worship and on the street corners. I assure you they have been paid in full. Go to your room and close the door. Privately pray to your Father. When your Father sees you he will reward you. Large quantities of meaningless words and repetition are not acceptable in prayer. Again, I say to you, that if two of you are in agreement on earth about anything for which they will make a request, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

You will receive the things you ask for in prayer when you have faith.

I tell you, believe that you receive what you pray for and you shall have it.

If you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?

The Lord continued: Pay attention to what the unrighteous judge said. Should God avenge his chosen that cry to him day and night, and yet he is longsuffering over them? I say to you, that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, will the Son of man find faith on the earth when he comes?

Be on the watch all the time. Pray for the strength to escape all these things in order to stand before the Son of man.

Jesus answered: If you know the gift of God and who asked you for a drink, you would have asked him to give you living water.

We know that God does not listen to sinners. If any man respects God and does his will, God listens to him.

Whatever you ask in my name, I will do. That way the Father may be glorified because of the Son.

Likewise the Spirit also helps our weaknesses. We do not know what we should pray for, as we should. The Spirit [of God] makes intercession with groaning that cannot be spoken.

For there is no difference between Jew and Greek. The same Lord (God) of all is abounding in riches for all who call on him.

We both have access to the Father by one Spirit through him.

Now to him that is able to do far more abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Let us approach the throne of grace (loving-kindness) with confidence, that we may receive mercy, and find grace for help in time of need.

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. He who comes to God must believe that he is and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

If any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God. He gives to all generously and without reproach and it will be given to him. However he must ask in faith, not doubting: for he who doubts is like a surging wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. Do not let that man think that he will receive anything from God.

Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded (uncertain) (doubter) (skeptic).

Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man helps much.

This is the confidence that we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. If we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions (requests) that we have asked of him.
