And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
But he that received the seed in stony places, the same is he that hears the word, and immediately with joy receives it;
Now he that ministers seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening withhold not your hand: for you know not which shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both alike shall be good.
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and immediately they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he comes and rains righteousness upon you.
And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knows not how.
If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your material things?
And God said, Behold, I have given you every plant bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, which has seed in its fruit; to you it shall be for food.

Does the plowman keep plowing all day to sow? does he keep opening and breaking the clods of his ground?
The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land.
And if any part of their carcass fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
