10 Bible Verses about Obeying Jesus

Jesus answered and said to him: If any one loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.

Then said Jesus to those Jews that believed on him: If you continue in my word, you are my disciples indeed,

He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; and he that loves me shall be loved by my Father; and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

If you love me, keep my commandments;

If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. Greater love has no man than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you. I no longer call you servants, because the servant knows not what his master does. But I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard from my Father, I have made known to you.

And by this we know that we do know him, if we keep his commandments.

and whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.

And he that keeps his commandments abides in him, and he in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given us.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not burdensome.
