For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
Furthermore I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, because the Egyptians are holding them in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant.
I have certainly seen the oppression of My people in Egypt and have heard their groans, and I have come down to rescue them; come now, and I will send you to Egypt.’
If you afflict him at all, and if he does cry out to Me, I will surely hear his cry;
The Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing of which you have spoken; for you have found favor in My sight and I have known you by name.” Then Moses said, “I pray You, show me Your glory!” And He said, “I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the Lord before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion.”read more.

For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is the Lord our God whenever we call on Him?
“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.
“I am a joke to my friends,
The one who called on God and He answered him;
The just and blameless man is a joke.

Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found;
Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
And His ears are open to their cry.
Delight yourself in the Lord;
And He will give you the desires of your heart.
“Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving
And pay your vows to the Most High;
Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call;
This I know, that God is for me.
“I, the Lord, am your God,

Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,

To hear the groaning of the prisoner,
To set free those who were doomed to death,
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
What the wicked fears will come upon him,
But the desire of the righteous will be granted.
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord,

Nor cross over to Beersheba;
For Gilgal will certainly go into captivity
And Bethel will come to trouble.
“Seek the Lord that you may live,
Or He will break forth like a fire, O house of Joseph,
And it will consume with none to quench it for Bethel,
Seek the Lord,
All you humble of the earth
Who have carried out His ordinances;
Seek righteousness, seek humility.
Perhaps you will be hidden
In the day of the Lord’s anger.
Ask rain from the Lord at the time of the spring rain—
The Lord who makes the storm clouds;
And He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man.
“When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. “And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words.read more.
So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. “Pray, then, in this way:
‘Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone?read more.
Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!
“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.
Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”
And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge *said; now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”
But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.
Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you.
Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.’
In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,
Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
