Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover feast, many believed in his name when they saw the signs which he did.

But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and neglect justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.

By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, so the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch them.

Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

Let us, therefore, celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

So the disciples set out and went to the city, and found it just as he had told them; and they prepared the Passover. And when it was evening he came with the twelve. Likewise he took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas to the Praetorium, and it was early morning. But they did not enter the Praetorium themselves, so that they might not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.

And when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking him. After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. And when they saw him they were astonished; and his mother said to him, "Son, why have you treated us so? Behold, your father and I have been looking for you anxiously." And he said to them, "Why did you seek me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?" But they did not understand the saying which he spoke to them.
