So never worry and say, 'What are we going to have to eat? What are we going to have to drink? What are we going to have to wear?' But as your first duty keep on looking for His standard of doing right, and for His will, and then all these things will be yours besides. So never worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries of its own. Each day has evil enough of its own."

Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are. You are God's Holy One." But Jesus reproved him, saying "Be quiet! Get out of him at once!" So the demon threw the man down in the midst of them and came out of him without doing him any harm.
Just at that moment there was a man in their synagogue who was under the spell of a foul spirit, and so he screamed, "What do you want of us, Jesus, you Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, God's Holy One!" Jesus reproved him, saying, "Hush up, get out of him!"
Then He rose to leave the synagogue, and He went to Simon's house. And Simon's mother-in-law was in the grip of a burning fever; so they asked Him about her. Then He took His stand by her and reproved the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them. As the sun was setting, all who had friends sick with various diseases brought them to Him. Then He continued to lay His hands upon them one by one and cured them.read more.

It is so because it was the divine choice that all the divine fullness should dwell in Him, and that through Him He might reconcile to Himself all things on earth or in heaven, making this peace through the blood He shed On His cross.

Just as my Father has sent me forth, so I am now sending you."
because I know that He who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will raise me too in fellowship with you.
May God, who gives us peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, who through the blood by which He ratified the everlasting covenant, is now the Great Shepherd of the sheep, perfectly fit you to do His will, He Himself, through Jesus Christ, accomplishing through you what is pleasing to Him. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen.
who can condemn them? Christ Jesus who died, or rather, who was raised from the dead, is now at God's right hand, and is actually pleading for us.
And while He was blessing them, He parted from them, and was taken up to heaven. And with great joy they went back to Jerusalem; and they were continually in the temple, praising God.
So He has been exalted to God's right hand and has received from His Father, as promised, and poured out upon us the Holy Spirit, as you see and hear. For David did not go up to heaven, but he himself says: 'The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand, Until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet."'read more.

But it is God who makes us as well as you secure through union with Christ, and has anointed us, and put His seal upon us, and given us His Spirit in our hearts as a first installment of future rewards.
For all who are guided by God's Spirit are God's sons. For you do not have a sense of servitude to fill you with dread again, but the consciousness of adopted sons by which we cry, "Abba," that is, "Father." The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirits that we are God's children;read more.
and if children, then also heirs, heirs of God and fellow-heirs with Christ if in reality we share His sufferings, so that we may share His glory too.
And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, "Abba," that is, "Father." So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir by God's own act.
So the church all over Judea, Galilee, and Samaria enjoyed peace, and as it continued to be built up spiritually and to live in reverence for the Lord, it continued to increase in numbers through the encouragement that the Holy Spirit gave.
And I will ask I will ask the Father and He will give you another Helper, to remain with you to the end of the age; even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, because it does not see Him or recognize Him, because He is going to remain with you, and will be within you. I will not leave you helpless orphans. I am coming back to you.
I mean this: Practice living by the Spirit and then by no means will you gratify the cravings of your lower nature. For the cravings of the lower nature are just the opposite to those of the Spirit, and the cravings of the Spirit are just the opposite of those of the lower nature; these two are opposed to each other, so that you cannot do anything you please. But if you are guided by the Spirit, you are not subject to the law.
The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." Let everyone who hears this say, "Come." Let everyone who is thirsty come. Let everyone who wishes come and take the living water without any cost.
