And, apart from faith, it is impossible to please Him; for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He becomes a rewarder to those who seek after Him.

And He could there do no mighty work, except that, laying His hands on a few sick people, He healed them. And He marvelled because of their unbelief. And He was going round about the villages, teaching.

Confess, therefore, your sins one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. A righteous man's inwrought supplication avails much. And Jesus, answering, said to them, "Verily I say to you, if ye have faith, and do not doubt, not only the withering of the fig tree shall ye accomplish, but, even if ye say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up, and be cast into the sea,' it shall be done. And all things whatsoever ye ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

And Jesus, answering, saith to them, "Have the faith of God. Verily I say to you, whosoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says comes to pass; he shall have it. Therefore, I say to you, all things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye received them, and ye shall have them.

But, if any of you is lacking in wisdom, let him ask from God, Who giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it will be given him; but let him ask in faith, nothing doubting; for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, wind-driven and tossed. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;read more.

Is anyone among you sick? let him call for the elders of the assembly; and let them pray over him, having anointed him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and, if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him.

And, when He entered into Capernaum, there came to Him a centurion, beseeching Him. and saying, "Lord, my boy has been prostrated in my house, a paralytic, fearfully afflicted." And He saith to him, "Having gone, I will heal him."read more.
And the centurion, answering, said, "Lord, I am not worthy that Thou shouldest enter under my roof, but only speak in a word, and my boy shall be healed; for I also am a man under authority, having under myself soldiers; and I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it." And Jesus, hearing it, wondered, and said to those following Him, "Verily I say to you, with no one in Israel did I find such faith. And I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the Kingdom of Heaven; but the sons of the Kingdom shall be cast out into the outer darkness; there will be the weeping, and the gnashing of teeth." And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; as you believed, be it done to you." And the boy was healed in that hour.

After He finished all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered into Capernaum. And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear to him, being ill, was about to die. And, having heard about Jesus, he sent to Him elders of the Jews, asking Him, that, having come, He would thoroughly save his servant.read more.
And they, coming to Jesus, were earnestly beseeching Him, saying, "He is worthy for whom Thou shalt do this; for he loves our nation, and he built the synagogue for us." And now, when He was not far distant from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to Him, "Lord, trouble not Thyself; for I am not worthy that Thou shouldest come under my roof. Wherefore, neither thought I myself worthy to come to Thee; but speak with a word, and let my boy be healed; for I also am a man set under authority, having soldiers under myself; and I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it." And, hearing these things, Jesus marvelled at him; and, turning, He said to the multitude following Him, "I say to you, not even in Israel did I find such faith!" And those who were sent, having returned to the house, found the servant well.

And, behold, a woman, having a flow of blood twelve years, having come up behind Him, touched the border of His garment; for she was saying within herself, "If I only touch His garment, I shall be made well." And Jesus, turning and seeing her, said, "Be of good courage, daughter, your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that hour.

And a woman, having a flow of blood twelve years, and having suffered many things under many physicians, and having spent all that she had, and having been profited nothing, but rather coming into the worse state, having heard the things concerning Jesus, coming in the crowd behind, touched His garment.read more.

And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you; go in peace, and be well of your ailment."

And a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who could not be cured, coming up behind, touched the border of His garment, and immediately her flow of blood stopped. And Jesus said, "Who is it that touched Me?" And, when all were denying, Peter said, "Master, the multitudes are thronging Thee, and hard pressing Thee!"read more.
But Jesus said, "Some one touched Me; for I perceived that power had gone out from Me." And the woman, seeing that she was not concealed, came trembling; and, falling down before Him, reported before all the people for what cause she touched Him, and how she was instantly healed. And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace."

And, going forth thence, Jesus withdrew into the parts of Tyre and Sidon. And, behold, a Canaanitish woman, having come forth out of those borders, cried out, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a demon!" But He answered her not a word. And His disciples, coming near, were beseeching Him, saying, "Send her away; for she is crying after us!"read more.
But He, answering, said, "I was not sent, except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." But she, coming, was worshiping Him, saying, "Lord, help me!" And He, answering, said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and cast it to the little dogs." But she said, "Yes, Lord; for even the little dogs eat of the crumbs falling from the master's table." Then Jesus, answering, said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! be it done to you as you wish." And her daughter was healed from that hour.

And, rising up, He went thence into the borders of Tyre and Sidon; and, entering into a house, He wished no one to know it. And He could not be hid. But straightway a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of Him, coming, fell down at His feet. And the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. And she kept asking Him to cast forth the demon out of her daughter.read more.
And He said to her, "Suffer the children first to be satisfied; for it is not good to take the children's bread, and cast it to the little dogs." But she answered, and says to Him, "Yes, Lord; even the little dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs." And He said to her, "Because of this word go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter." And, going away into her own house, she found the child laid upon the bed, and the demon gone out.
