And straightaway Jesus compelled the disciples to enter into the boat, and to go ahead of him to the other side, until he would dismiss the multitudes. And having dismissed the multitudes, he went up onto the mountain in private to pray. And having become evening, he was there alone.

Then Jesus comes with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he says to his disciples, Sit ye here until, after going, I may pray there.

saying, Father, if thou want, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless not my will, but thine be done.
And he happened in these days to go out onto the mountain to pray, and he was continuing all night in prayer to God.
