10 Bible Verses about Purification

For every commandment having been spoken by Moses to all the people according to law, having taken the blood of bullocks and goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, he sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, saying, This is the blood of the covenant which God established unto you. And according to the law, almost all things are purified by blood; and without the shedding of blood there is no remission.

neither through the blood of goats and bullocks, but through his own blood, came once into the holies, having found eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctifies unto the purification of the flesh; how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered up himself without spot to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

let us draw nigh with a true heart in a full assurance of faith, having been sprinkled as to our hearts from an evil conscience,

Wherefore do thy disciples transgress the traditions of the elders? for they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.

Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, Wherefore do not thy disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders: but they eat bread with unwashed hands?

For having left the commandment of God, you are holding the tradition of men. And He said to them, Truly, you make void the commandment of God, that you may hold your own tradition.

And the Pharisee seeing, was astonished because He was not first baptized before dinner.

And Pilate seeing that he profits nothing, but rather an uproar supervenes, having taken water, washed his hands in the presence of the multitude, saying, For I am free from the blood of this just one: you shall see to it.
