22 Bible Verses about Putting Off The Old Man

Lie not one to another, seeing ye have put off the old man with his deeds, And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge, after the image of him that created him:

concerning your former conversation, the old man, which is corrupt, according to the deceitful desires: To be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And to put on the new man, which is created after God, in righteousness and true holiness.

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we might no longer serve sin.

I say then, walk by the Spirit, and fulfil not the desire of the flesh. For the flesh desireth against the Spirit, but the Spirit desireth against the flesh (these are contrary to each other) that ye may not do the things which ye would. But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
