Life is a greater gift than food, and the body, than clothing. "Which of you, by his anxiety, can add one span to his life? If, therefore, you can not do that which is the least, why are you anxious about the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow. Be anxious about nothing, but in every thing, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God:

Let there be no money-loving disposition; be content with such things as you have. For he has said: I will never leave you, nor will I ever forsake you. So, then, we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man will do to me.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the strong hand of God, that he may exalt you in due season. Cast all your cares on him, for he cares for you.
