20 Bible Verses about Respecting Parents

'Honor thy father and mother'--this is the first Commandment with a promise--'

For God said--'Honor thy father and mother,' and 'Let him who reviles his father or mother suffer death,'

So that thou mayest prosper and have a long life on earth.'

Children, obey your parents, as children of the Lord; for that is but right.
