And he said to them, "I have greatly desired to eat this Passover supper with you before I suffer.

But now there is no more work for me in this part of the world, and as I have had a great desire for many years to come to see you,

For our part, brothers, when we were separated from you for a little while??n person, though not in spirit??e were extremely eager and longed intensely to see you.

For I long to see you, to convey to you some spiritual gift that will strengthen you;

When I remember the tears you shed I long night and day to see you again, and have the perfect happiness

But now that Timothy has just come back to me from you, and brought me good news of your faith and love, and told me how kindly you think of me and that you long to see me just as much as I long to see you,

When Herod saw Jesus he was delighted, for he had wanted for a long time to see him, because he had heard about him and he hoped to see some wonder done by him.

So, for my part, I am eager to preach the good news to you at Rome also.

I do not understand what I am doing, for I do not do what I want to do; I do things that I hate. But if I do what I do not want to do, I acknowledge that the Law is right.

I do not do the good things that I want to do; I do the wrong things that I do not want to do.

In all this it has been my ambition to preach the good news only where Christ's name was unknown, so as not to build on foundations other men had laid.

I want you all to speak ecstatically, but I especially want you to be inspired to preach. The man who is inspired to preach is more useful than the one who speaks ecstatically??nless he can explain what he says so that it may do the church some good.

This makes me sigh with longing to put on my heavenly dwelling,

and not only by his coming, but by the comfort you had given him, for he told me how you longed to see me, how sorry you were, and how you took my part, which made me happier still.

But I will tell you what I think about it. For this is the best way to deal with you, for you were the first not only to do anything about this, but to want to do anything, and that was last year.

Now finish doing it, so that your readiness to undertake it may be equaled by the way you finish it up, as well as your means permit.

But everyone who wants to live a godly life as a follower of Christ Jesus will be persecuted,

So when they gathered to ask this, Pilate said to them, "Which one do you want me to release for you, Barabbas, or Jesus, the so-called Christ?"

He said to her, "What do you want?" She said to him, "Give orders that these two sons of mine sit one at your right and one at your left, when you are king!"

And Jesus stopped and called them, and said, "What do you want me to do for you?"

He said to them, "What do you want me to do for you?"

Jesus spoke to him and said, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man said to him, "Master, let me regain my sight!"

Then Jesus answered, "You have great faith! You shall have what you want." And her daughter was cured from that time.

Brothers, my heart is full of good will toward them; my prayer to God is that they may be saved.
