He that reproves a scoffer gets for himself shame: and he that rebukes a wicked man gets himself injury. Reprove not a scoffer, lest he hate you: rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.
I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not entirely with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must you needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no not to eat.
Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? And such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
