But we know that the Son of God hath come, and hath given to us understanding, that we might know the true God; and we are in him that is true, in his Son Jesus the Messiah. HE is the true God, and the life eternal.
For now we see by reflected light, indistinctly; but then face to face: now I know partially; but then shall I know even as I am known.
Earnestly seek peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Behold! he is coming with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also who pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall lament bitterly, smiting their bosoms, because of him: even so! Amen.
