So when Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping too, He sighed in sympathy and shook with emotion, and asked, "Where have you laid him?" They answered, "Lord, come and see." Jesus burst into tears.
Since then we have in Jesus, the Son of God, a great High Priest who has gone right up to heaven itself, let us continue to keep a firm hold on our profession of faith in Him. For we do not have a High Priest who is incapable of sympathizing with us in our weaknesses, but we have One who was tempted in every respect as we are, and yet without committing any sin.
For inasmuch as He has suffered Himself by being tempted, He is able to give immediate help to any that are tempted.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the merciful Father and the all-comforting God, who comforts me in every sorrow I have, so that I can comfort people who are in sorrow with the comfort with which I am comforted by God.
So, if there is any appeal in our union with Christ, if there is any persuasive power in love, if we have any common share in the Spirit, if you have any tenderheartedness and sympathy,
Practice rejoicing with people who rejoice, and weeping with people who weep.
You must practice being kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has graciously forgiven you.
So as God's own chosen people, consecrated and dearly loved, you must once for all clothe yourselves with tenderheartedness, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience; you must keep on forbearing one another and freely forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; just as the Lord has freely forgiven you, so must you also do.
Finally, you must all live in harmony, be sympathetic, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, humble,
Continue to remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them, and those who are being ill-treated, since you, too, are liable to similar physical punishment.

It is the duty of us who are strong to bear with the weaknesses of those who are not strong, and not merely to please ourselves.
Make it your practice to receive into full Christian fellowship people who are overscrupulous, but not to criticize their views. One man believes that he can eat anything; another who is overscrupulous eats nothing but vegetables. The man who eats anything must not look down on the man who does not do so, nor must the man who does not do so condemn the man who does, for God has fully accepted him.
But you must see to it that this right of yours does not become a stumbling block to overscrupulous people. For if somebody sees you, who have an intelligent view of this matter, partaking of a meal in an idol's temple, will he not be emboldened, with his overscrupulous conscience, to eat the food which has been sacrificed to an idol? Yes, the overscrupulous brother, for whom Christ died, is ruined by your so-called knowledge.read more.
Now if in such a way you sin against your brothers and wound their overscrupulous consciences, you are actually sinning against Christ.

One man believes that he can eat anything; another who is overscrupulous eats nothing but vegetables.

For everything in God's creation is good, and nothing is to be refused, provided it is accepted with thanksgiving;
So God has given them up to sexual impurity, in the evil trend of their heart's desires, so that they degrade their own bodies with one another, for they had utterly transformed the reality of God into what was unreal, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
