Ask a sign of Jehovah your God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
So, the Lord Himself shall give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Immanuel.
And this shall be a sign to you, which shall come upon your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day both of them shall die.
But if they say this, Come up to us, then we will go up, for Jehovah has delivered them up into our hand. And this shall be a sign to us.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Put forth your hand and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand, -- so that they may believe that Jehovah, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you. And Jehovah said to him again, Now put your hand in your bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom. And when he took it out, behold, his hand was as leprous as snow. And He said, Put your hand into your bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again. And he brought it out of his bosom, and behold, it was turned again like his other flesh. And it will be, if they will not believe you, neither listen to the voice of the first sign, then they will believe the voice of the latter sign. And also it will be, if they will not believe these two signs, neither listen to your voice, then you shall take from the water of the river and pour it upon the dry land. And the water which you take out of the river shall become blood on the dry land.
And Moses told Aaron all the words of Jehovah who had sent him, and all the signs which He had commanded him.
And Aaron spoke all the words which Jehovah had spoken to Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.
For Jehovah our God is He who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. And He did those great wonders in our sight, and kept us in all our way in which we went and among all the people through whom we passed.
And Moses said, By this you shall know that Jehovah has sent me to do all these works, and that not from my own heart. If these men die the common death of all men, or if they are visited according to the examination of all men, Jehovah has not sent me. But if Jehovah makes a new thing, and the earth opens her mouth and swallows them up with all that they have, and they go down alive into the pit, then you shall understand that these men have provoked Jehovah.
In those days Hezekiah was sick to death, and prayed to Jehovah. And He spoke to him, and He gave him a sign.
And you know today, for I do not speak with your sons who have not known and who have not seen the chastisement of Jehovah your God, His greatness, His mighty hand, and His stretched-out arm, and His miracles, and His acts which He did in the midst of Egypt, to Pharaoh the king of Egypt and to all his land. And you know what He did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and to their chariots, how He made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and Jehovah has destroyed them to today.read more.
And you know what He did to you in the wilderness until you came into this place, and what He did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab the son of Reuben, how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance in their possession, in the midst of all Israel. But your eyes have seen all the great acts of Jehovah which He did.
And it will be when these signs have come to you, you will do for yourself what your hand finds; for God is with you.
