When the Pharisees heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they came together.
And he said to them: Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath-day, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they were silent.

Pilate again asked him, saying: Do you make no answer? See, how many things they testify against you. But Jesus gave no further answer; so that Pilate was astonished.
and he went into the governor's palace again, and said to Jesus: Whence are you? But Jesus gave him no answer.
And Jesus rebuked him, saying: Be silent, and come out of him. And the unclean spirit threw him into convulsions, and cried with a loud voice, and came out of him.
And Jesus rebuked him, saying: Be silent, and come out of him. And the demon threw him into the midst, and came out of him, and hurt him not.
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea: Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it secret, and told no one, in those days, any of the things which they had seen.
Then all the multitude kept silence, and listened to Barnabas and Paul, while they made known what signs and wonders God had done by them among the Gentiles.
After the tumult had ceased, Paul called the disciples to him, and bade them farewell, and departed, in order to go into Macedonia.
