But let him ask in faith, not doubting; for he that doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind and agitated.

And Jesus said to them, On account of your unbelief. For I tell you truly, if you have a faith like a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Be removed thence to that place, and it shall be removed; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
And behold you shall be silent, and not able to speak, till the day these things are accomplished; because you have not believed my words, which shall be fulfilled in their time.

But there are some of you who believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who he was that would betray him.
Jesus answered them, I have told you and you believe not; the works which I perform in my Father's name, these testify of me;
But though he had performed so many miracles before them they did not believe in him;

Then the other disciples said to him, We have seen the Lord; but he said to them, Unless I see in his hands the impression of the nails, and put my finger in the impression of the nails, and put my hand in his side, I will not believe. And after eight days his disciples were again within, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be to you. Then he said to Thomas, Reach here your finger and behold my hands, and reach your hand and put it in my side, and be not faithless but believing. read more.
