We know by faith that the worlds were made by the word of God, that the seen was not made from the apparent.

For of this they are willingly ignorant, that the heavens were of old, and the earth was made of water and by water by the word of God,

who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his substance, and sustaining all things by the word of his power, having made a purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the majesty on high,

that he might sanctify it, purifying it with the washing of water with the word,
