In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will reward each man according to what he has done.

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.

And he will put the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live;

And again, when God brings the first-born into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him."

But of the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of your kingdom.

And behold, a voice from heaven, saying, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authoritiesall things were created through him and for him.

All things were made through him, and without him nothing was made that was made.

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the world.

And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals; for you were slain, and with your blood purchased men for God from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!" And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying, "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" And the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the elders fell down and worshipped.

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb." Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and said to him, "Sir, we wish to see Jesus."

Jesus answered them, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might have the first place in everything.

And the glory which you gave me I have given them, that they may be one just as we are one:

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another, for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

And he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.

For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him by the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased." We ourselves heard this voice coming from heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain.

And coming to his own country he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, "Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

Isaiah said this because he saw his glory and spoke of him.

but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father."

I and the Father are one."

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The officers answered, "No man ever spoke like this man!"

And all spoke well of him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth; and they said, "Is not this Joseph's son?"

These will make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with him are the called and chosen and faithful."

For it was fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, blameless, unstained, separated from sinners, exalted above the heavens. He does not need, like those high priests, to offer up daily sacrifices, first for his own sins and then for the sins of the people, because he did this once for all when he offered up himself. For the Law appoints men as high priests who are weak, but the word of the oath, which came after the Law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.

As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you inquired and searched carefully, seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.

And, "You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands; they will perish, but you remain; they will all grow old like a garment, you will roll them up like a mantle; and like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end."

And he put all things under his feet and gave him to be the head over all things for the church,

But rejoice that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may also be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

Through him you have confidence in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; and he said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God."

Now as he journeyed he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

At midday, O King, I saw on the way a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me.
