So Tamar went to the house of Amnon her brother, who was lying down. She took the dough, kneaded it, made some cakes while he watched, and baked them. But when she took the pan and set it before him, he refused to eat. Instead Amnon said, "Get everyone out of here!" So everyone left. Then Amnon said to Tamar, "Bring the cakes into the bedroom; then I will eat from your hand." So Tamar took the cakes that she had prepared and brought them to her brother Amnon in the bedroom.
Elijah said to her, "Don't be afraid. Go and do as you planned. But first make a small cake for me and bring it to me; then make something for yourself and your son. For this is what the Lord God of Israel says, 'The jar of flour will not be empty and the jug of oil will not run out until the day the Lord makes it rain on the surface of the ground.'" She went and did as Elijah told her; there was always enough food for Elijah and for her and her family.read more.
The jar of flour was never empty and the jug of oil never ran out, just as the Lord had promised through Elijah.
The jailer brought them into his house and set food before them, and he rejoiced greatly that he had come to believe in God, together with his entire household.
So they prepared a dinner for Jesus there. Martha was serving, and Lazarus was among those present at the table with him.
Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.
