When Josnt took the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed.

Then he bought fine linen, took him down, and wrapped him in the linen. And he laid him in a tomb which had been hewn out of the rock, and rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.

It was the Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was about to begin.

Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.

So they went and made the tomb secure by sealing the stone and setting a guard.

And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.

And they asked each other, "Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?"

And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb,

Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had ever been laid.

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which outwardly appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seats in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces. Woe to you! For you are like graves which are not seen, and men walk over them without knowing it."
