Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are vexed. My soul also is sore troubled; but LORD, how long wilt thou punish me? Turn thee, O LORD, and deliver my soul; O save me for thy mercies' sake.

The LORD hath granted his loving-kindness in the daytime; and in the night-season did I sing of him, and made my prayer unto the God of my life.

Doth a wife forget the child of her womb, and the son who she hath born? And though she do forget, yet will not I forget thee. Behold, I have written thee up upon my hands, thy walls are ever in my sight.
