And they say, How does God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the day in which the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

For the vile person will speak villainy, and his heart will invent iniquity to work unrighteousness and to speak scornfully against the LORD, leaving the soul of the hungry empty and taking away the drink of the thirsty. Certainly the greedy use evil measures: he devises wicked devices to ensnare the simple with lying words and to speak in judgment against the poor.

The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbour, but the just are delivered with wisdom.

Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah, the son of Amittai, saying, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.

knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly sinners, for the evil and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for homosexuals, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

For the governors of this people are deceivers, and those who are governed by them are lost. The righteous shall certainly be recompensed in the earth; how much more the wicked and the sinner!

For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he has stolen much, when God takes away his soul?

and delivered just Lot, who was persecuted by those abominable people because of their nefarious conversation; (for that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, afflicted his righteous soul from day to day with the deeds of those unjust people); the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished; and chiefly those that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise dominion; presumptuous, arrogant, they are not afraid to speak evil of the higher powers;

For the Christ, when we were yet weak, in his time died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die, yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God increased the price of his charity toward us in that while we were yet sinners the Christ died for us.

And even if all Israel were saved, as it is written: There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall take away the ungodliness from Jacob;

And the Redeemer shall come to Zion and unto those that turn from the rebellion in Jacob, said the LORD.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live temperately, righteously, and godly in this present world;

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go unto judgment before the unjust, and not before the saints?

Blessed is the man that does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful.

But avoid profane and vain wordiness, for it will develop into ungodliness.

But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, turn away from profane voices and vain things and arguments in the vain name of science, which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
