For he determined beforehand that those whom he foreknew should be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. And those whom he before appointed, he also called; and those whom he called, he also accepted as righteous; and those whom he accepted as righteous, he also glorified.

and I give them everlasting life; and they shall never perish, nor shall any one tear them out of my hand. That which my Father hath given me is greater than all; and no one is able to tear [them] out of the Fathers hand.

While I was with them, I kept them in thy name which thou hast given me, and guarded them; and no one of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture may be fulfilled.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ for us? Shall affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword? As it is written, "For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we were accounted as sheep for slaughter." Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors, through him that loved us.read more.
For I am persuaded, that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God for us, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

being confident of this very thing, that he who began in you a good work, will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus;

wherefore he is able also to save to the utmost those who come to God through him, since he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

But seek first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will also be given you.

But my God will supply all your need according to his riches in glory, in Christ Jesus.

Let your disposition be without covetousness, and be content with what ye have; for he hath said, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee;" so that we boldly say, "The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear; what shall man do to me?"

For which cause I suffer also these things. But I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which he hath committed to me unto that day.

which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, sure and steadfast, and which entereth within the veil;

Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to his abundant mercy, begot us again into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance imperishable, and undefiled, and unfading, reserved in heaven for you, who are guarded by the power of God through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time;

Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to all the flock over which the Holy Spirit made you overseers, to feed the church of the Lord, which he purchased with his own blood.

But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered when I know your state. For I have no one likeminded, who will have a true concern for your state;

The elders among you I exhort, who am a fellowelder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a sharer in the glory that is to be revealed; tend the flock of God which is among you, overseeing it, not by constraint, but willingly; not for base gain, but with ready mind;

Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance; and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham for our father; for I say to you, that God is able out of these stones to raise up children to Abraham.

They answered him, We are Abrahams offspring, and have never been in bondage to any one; how sayest, thou, Ye will be made free?

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and have gotten wealth, and have need of nothing, and knowest not that thou art the wretched and the pitiable one, and poor, and blind, and naked,

But I have this against thee, that thou hast left thy first love.

And to the angel of the church in Sardes write: These things saith he who hath the seven spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the remaining things, that were ready to die; for I have not found thy works perfect before my God.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth, take heed lest he fall.

Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in thy name, and in thy name cast out demons, and in thy name work many miracles? And then will I declare to them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

And the king, coming in to view the guests, saw there a man who had not on a wedding garment; and he saith to him, Friend, how camest thou in here, not having a wedding garment? And he was struck dumb.

Then will he say also to those on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into the everlasting fire, which is prepared for the Devil and his angels. For I was hungry, and ye gave me no food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.read more.
Then will they also answer, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee? Then will he answer them, saying, Truly do I say to you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these will go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous into everlasting life.

And to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised all others, he spoke this parable:

For if we sin willingly after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remaineth a sacrifice for sins; but a certain fearful looking for judgment, and an indignation by fire, which will devour the adversaries.

For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. It hath happened to them according to the true proverb, The dog returned to his own vomit; and, The sow that was washed, to her wallowing in the mire.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

When they are saying, Peace and safety; then doth sudden destruction come upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

And as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be also in the days of the Son of man. They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. In like manner, as it was in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

Charge those who are rich in this world that they be not highminded, nor place their hope in uncertain riches, but in God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good,
