8 Bible Verses about Vigilance

Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour; whom resist, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being accomplished in your brethren in the world. But the God of all grace, who called you to his everlasting glory in Christ Jesus, will, after ye have suffered a while, himself make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

Persevere in prayer, being watchful therein with thanksgiving;

Watch, and pray that ye enter not into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Therefore be watchful, and remember that for the space of three years, night and day, I ceased not to warn every one with tears.
