And when forty years were completed, there appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai an angel in the flaming fire of a bush. And Moses seeing it wondered at the sight; and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came [to him], saying, "I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob." And Moses trembled and durst not behold.

And having been warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod, they went back to their own country another way.

And when they had gone, lo! an angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and remain there until I speak to thee; for Herod will seek the child, to destroy him.

And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias, and to him the Lord said in a vision, Ananias! And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. This was done three times; and the vessel was immediately taken up into heaven. Now, while Peter was doubting within himself what the vision which he had seen meant, lo! the men who were sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simons house, and stood before the gate;

And I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me; and having turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks,
