These are the journeys of the children of Israel, who went forth from the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron. And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.

Whenever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I shall be somewhat filled with your company.

And the king said to me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.

For the good-man is not at home, he is gone a long journey:

But when he heard that Archelaus reigned in Judea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned by God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, And sent messengers before his face: and they went and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.read more.

Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

And he calleth to him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no bag, no bread, no money in their purse: But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.read more.

And into whatever house ye enter, there abide, and thence depart. And whoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

When a few years are come, then I shall go the way whence I shall not return.

Hear another parable; There was a certain householder, who planted a vineyard, and hedged it around, and digged a wine-press in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a remote country:

And he began to speak to them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set a hedge about it, and digged a place for the wine-vat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of man cometh. For the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered to them his goods.

For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?

And they said to him, Ask counsel, we pray thee, of God, that we may know whether our way which we go shall be prosperous. And the priest said to them, Go in peace: before the LORD is your way in which ye go.

And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and forthwith took his journey.
