And He saith to them, "Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?" Then, having arisen, He rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. And the men wondered, saying, "What manner of Man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him!"

And, having been roused up, He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said to them, "Why are ye fearful? Have ye not yet faith?" And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, "Who, then, is This, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"

And, coming near, they awoke Him, saying, "Master, Master, we perish!" And, having arisen, He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water; and they ceased, and it became calm. And He said to them, "Where is your faith?" And, struck with fear, they marvelled, saying one to another, "Who, then, is This, that He commandeth even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!"

The Spirit breatheth where He willeth; and you hear His voice, but know not whence He cometh, or whither He goeth: so is every one who has been born of the Spirit."

that ye may be sons of your Father Who is in Heaven; because He causeth His sun to rise on evil men and on good, and sendeth rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.

and yet He left not Himself without witness, doing good, giving you rains from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness."

Elijah was a man of like nature with us; and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it rained not on the earth for three years and six months; and again he prayed, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth its fruit.

And the barbarians were extending to us no ordinary kindness; for, having kindled a fire, they took us all in, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

saying, 'These last wrought but one hour, and you made them equal with us, who bore the burden of the day and the burning heat!'

And the servants and the officers were standing there, having made a fire of coals (because it was cold), and were warming themselves; and Peter also was with them, standing and warming himself.

And, the ship being caught, and unable to face the wind, yielding to it, we were borne along.
