And He, answering, said to them, "Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?
And He said to them, "Well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may hold your tradition!
Speaking boldly, both Paul and Barnabas said, "It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you. Inasmuch as ye thrust it away from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the gentiles; for so hath the Lord commanded us, 'I have set Thee for a Light of the gentiles, that Thou mayest be for salvation to the uttermost part of the earth.'"
God, therefore, having overlooked the time of ignorance, now commands all men everywhere to repent;
who, indeed, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also consent with those who practice them.
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus according to a command of God our Savior and Christ Jesus our Hope,
but in His own seasons manifested His word in a proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;
And this is the commandment, that we should believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
And this commandment we have from Him, that he who loves God loves his brother also.
A new commandment I give to you, that ye love one another; even as I loved you, that ye love one another.
And He saith to them, "Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?" Then, having arisen, He rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. And the men wondered, saying, "What manner of Man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him!"
And, having been roused up, He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said to them, "Why are ye fearful? Have ye not yet faith?" And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, "Who, then, is This, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"
And, coming near, they awoke Him, saying, "Master, Master, we perish!" And, having arisen, He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water; and they ceased, and it became calm. And He said to them, "Where is your faith?" And, struck with fear, they marvelled, saying one to another, "Who, then, is This, that He commandeth even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!"
going, therefore, disciple ye all the nations, immersing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I commanded you; and, behold, I am with you all the days, even to the end of the age."
And Jesus rebuked it, saying, "Be silent, and come out of him." And the unclean spirit, having convulsed him, and having cried with a loud voice, came out of him. And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What is this? A new teaching! With authority He commandeth even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him!"
And Jesus rebuked it, saying, "Be silent, and come out from him." And the demon, hurling him into the midst, came out from him, having injured him naught. And amazement came upon all; and they were talking together, one with another, saying, "What is this word, that with authority and power He commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out!"
And He charged them much that no one should know this; and He commanded that something should be given her to eat.
And her parents were astonished. But He charged them to tell no one what had taken place.
And Jesus, seeing that a multitude was running together, rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him, and enter no more into him."
Even so did the Lord ordain, that those who proclaim the Gospel should live by the Gospel.
And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to fully testify that it is He Who hath been ordained by God Judge of the living and dead.
And to the married I give command??ot I, but the Lord??hat the wife depart not from her husband; but if she even depart, let her remain unmarried, or let her be reconciled to her husband; and that the husband leave not his wife.
If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge the things that I write to you, that they are the Lord's commandment;
that ye remember the words spoken before by holy prophets, and the commandments of the Lord and Savior by your apostles.
Beloved, I write no new commandment to you, but and old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye heard. Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you; because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.
And He commanded that they should be immersed in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain some days.
And, as they were journeying through the cities, they were delivering to them the decrees to keep, that had been ordained by the apostles and elders who were in Jerusalem.
And this she was doing for many days. But Paul, having been troubled, and turning, said to the spirit, "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out from her." And it came out that very hour!
And we have become confident in the Lord regarding you, that ye both do, and will do, the things which we command.

Charge those who are rich in this present age, not to be high-minded, nor to have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, Who giveth us richly all things for enjoyment; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, free to impart, liberal;
I charge you before God who preserves alive all things, and Christ Jesus Who before Pontius Pilate testified a good confession, that you keep the commandment, unsullied, irreproachable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
And some shouted one thing, some another, among the crowd; and, when he could not ascertain the certainty because of the tumult, he ordered that he be brought into the castle.
And, when a great dissension was arising, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul might be torn in pieces by them, commanded the soldiers, going down, to take him by force out of their midst, and lead him into the castle.
And, having spent among them not more than eight or ten days, he went down to Caesarea; and, on the morrow, sitting on the judgment-seat, he ordered Paul to be brought.
Now the high priests and the Pharisees had given orders, that, if any one knew where He was, he should show it, that they might seize Him.
But, having ordered them to go aside out of the Sanhedrin, they were conferring one with another,
saying, "We strictly charged you not to teach in This Name; and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your teaching! and intend to bring upon us the blood of This Man!"
And the high priest, Ananias, commanded those who stood by, to smite him on the mouth. Then Paul said to him, "God is about to smite you??ou whited wall! And do you sit judging me according to the law, and, in violation of law, command me to be smitten?"
for, when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, taking the blood of the calves and of the goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, he sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, saying, "This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded in respect to you."
And Jesus saith to him, "See that you tell no one: but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.
and saith to him, "See that you say nothing to any one, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing what Moses directed, for a testimony to them."
They say to Him, "Why, then, did Moses command to give her a bill of divorcement, and to put her away?" He saith to them, "Moses, in view of the hardness of your heart, permitted you to put away your wives; but from the beginning it has not been so.
And He, answering, said to them, "What did Moses command you?" And they said, "Moses permitted to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away."
Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such; what, therefore, dost Thou say?"
but sin, taking occasion through the commandment, wrought in me all manner of coveting; for apart from law sin is dead. And I was alive apart from the law once; but, when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment which was unto life was itself found by me to be unto death;read more.
