As he that takes away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon soda, so is he that sings songs to a heavy heart.

In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Thus I was; in the day the heat consumed me, and the cold by night; and my sleep departed from my eyes.

Saying, These last have worked but one hour, and you have made them equal unto us, who have borne the burden and heat of the day.

And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.

And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her be driven.
